SaverPlus (Repeat)

To help families start the year off a little easier, SaverPlus offers an opportunity to support parents to access an extra $500.  Please see the conditions listed on the poster below.

 

If parents commit to saving up to $50 a month for 10 months, ANZ will match it with up to $500. Participants can put that money towards education costs for themselves or their children.

Kingborough Netball Association

KNA welcomes new and returning teams for the 2024 KNA Winter Roster commencing Monday, 18 March to 17 June 2024.

 

The Roster is played for 10 rounds.  No games will be played on Monday 01 April (Easter Monday); 15 April and 22 April (School Holidays); and 10 June (Kings Birthday Long Wend).

 

There are no Grand Finals for Grades 3/4. Grand Final/s for Grade 5/6 will be held on 17 June 2024.

 

Teams are open to players of any sex or gender identity, there are no restrictions.

 

Sessions are held at the following times:

  • Grades 3/4 - 4.10pm-5.00pm & 5.00pm-6.00pm 
  • Grades 5/6 – 5.00pm-6.00pm & 6.00pm-7.00pm

Games are played on outdoors courts at KNA and some games are played on indoor courts at Kingborough Sports Centre.

 

Schools/Coach/Team Manager will need to register the team via PlayHQ – a very easy process.  Once the team is registered, a link can be sent directly to parents/players to complete their registration and payment.

Teams need to be registered by Monday 11 March 2024 – please be aware that there are limited numbers due to court availability. So register early so you don’t miss out.

 

ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER AND PAY THEIR REGISTRATION BY FRIDAY 14 MARCH 2024.  No player will be allowed to take to the court unless their registration fee has been paid.

KNA is an Approved Activity Provider for Ticket to Play.  If you are eligible to use Ticket to Play please make contact with Emma (her details are above).

Umpires – Teams need to provide their own umpire.  If your team is struggling to find an umpire and would like KNA to provide an umpire there will be a cost of $10.00 per game.  If your teams would like an umpire please advised KNA no later than Monday, 11 March 2024.  KNA will do our best to allocate an umpire to your team, however this is not guaranteed.

 

KNA will be running an umpire mentoring session on Monday 11 March 2024 – 5pm to 6pm in the KNA Clubrooms – umpires and coaches are most welcome to attend – more details will be posted on our Facebook Page.

 

KNA will also be running the very popular Grade 3 & Skills and Drills – at this stage is it schedule for Monday, 11 March 2024 – from 4.00pm to 5.30pm – this also includes any players new to netball in Grade 5 & 6 teams.


SOUTHERN PRIMARY SCHOOL HOCKEY COMPETITION 2024 (Repeat)

Primary School Rosters - Term 2  

Cornelian Bay – Saturday Mornings (9:00-12:00pm)

8-week roster (4 May – 29 Jul)

 

Quarter Field (Prep – Grade 2)

  • $119 entry per team.
  • Played on mini grounds
  • Teams of 5
  • An Umpire/Guide is provided to facilitate each game meaning teams do not need to supply a coach or umpire.

Half Field (Grades 3 & 4)

  • $238 entry per team
  • Played on half size grounds
  • Teams of 7
  • Parents or siblings (secondary school players) coach and umpire the games.  If you are unable to supply a Coach/Umpire an Umpire/Guide can be provided by Hockey Tasmania at a cost of $15 per game.

Open Primary (Grades 5 & 6)

  • $325 per team
  • Played on full size grounds under the normal rules of hockey
  • Teams of 11
  • Each team is required to provide an umpire. If you are unable to supply an Umpire one can be provided by Hockey Tasmania at a cost of $15 per game.
