‘Your Choicez’ Respectful Relationships Seminar – Year 10 (Repeat)

On Friday 23 February, Southern Christian College will be hosting a special event for our Year 10 student cohort. This is a whole day seminar.

Students will be participating in a Respectful Relationships seminar facilitated by ‘Your Choicez’, who will be flying down from Sydney to work with our students in person. ‘Your Choicez’ have facilitated these seminars at many Christian Schools around Australia.

In a world where teens seem to be more connected than ever before, many are struggling with real and meaningful connection.

This generation can struggle to find genuine, satisfactory, and helpful answers to a growing problem: How do I find, build, and navigate healthy and safe relationships?

Founders and Directors of ‘Your Choicez’, David (Bachelor of Theology) and Katie Kobler (Advanced Diploma of Psychology) are on a mission to provide education to teenagers around topics that are often avoided. With an extensive background in youth work, youth communication and leadership, they have developed a team of highly skilled, effective, and passionate communicators and educators who are engaging teens across Australia in this time of need.

The combination of research-based content, high quality programs and excellent speakers with a strong ability to connect with young people, has led to some of the most powerful, life changing programs available on these topics today.

Students may wear their PE uniform for the Student Seminar and should bring morning tea, a water bottle and lunch on the day.
