We have updated our processes in regard to student pick up at the end of the school day.
If your child is being collected from the Belmont Park gate by a support worker, the support worker needs to phone office on arrival at gate to inform of student pick and state their name. This will be recorded in our sign out folder in the office.
This can only occur when a support worker has previously given their details (WWCC) to the front office. Therefore, support workers collecting a student for the first time will need to go to the front office first and provide office staff with their Working With Children's Check.
A reminder that we start our school programs at 9am. Please do your best to have your children arrive on time at school so that all students can fully participate in our learning programs. We know some parents/carers are arriving a little later to work around buses in the driveway.
It was great to see so many parents coming in to meet with teachers, therapists and support staff. If you haven't had an SSG meeting with your child's teacher, you can arrange this. Teachers are developing student semester 1 goals and you will receive these both electronically via Compass and in hard copy in 2024.
Would you like to know more about options for your child when they leave school?
Our Post School Expo is coming up on March 27th from 7-8.30pm with a range of post school providers attending. See the Notices and Flyers section for more details.
At Croydon SDS we know that working in partnership with families and external providers promotes consistency between home and school. To ensure we meet our Child Safety obligations and minimise disruptions to classrooms, we have the following guidelines in place. If you need support with this process, please contact Libby Anderson our NDIS Navigator.
