Here we are half-way through term 1 already! It's been a busy but positive first few weeks, with everyone settling well into their routines.
Our building project is now well underway. The site has been cleared and soil is currently being prepared for the front carpark and driveway. Students have accommodated to the noise and vibrations that the excavators are making throughout the day. Many students are enjoying watching the trucks and machinery move about.
The building plans and material/colour samples remain on display at the front foyer. We invite you in to have a look at these.
Our School Council AGM will be held prior to our council meeting on Thursday, 21st March at 7pm in the staffroom. All parents and carers are invited to attend either in person or online; https://eduvic.webex.com/eduvic/j.php?MTID=mc3668c30e2331e8e02d474c3f8325d7d
School Council encourage all interested parents and carers to attend.
Field of View Photography will be visiting during the week of Monday 18 March. Students will be photographed engaging in some of their daily activities across the school. Early next term you will be given an online link and passcode to view your child's photos and have the option to purchase these. Further information is available on the Notices and Flyers page of this newsletter.
I popped into Eastland this week and noticed the Shop for your School display and leader board. It is very pleasing to see that we are already sitting half-way up the ladder, sitting in 8th position. Keep up the good work everyone and spread the word to family and friends to register and upload their fresh food retailer shopping receipts.
