Senior Boys Cricket

On Friday the 13th February, a team of 13 boys went to senior boys cricket, some experienced and some looking for an experience. 

The first game, we played Oberon Secondary College.  SCSC batted first and made a healthy total of 84 off 17 overs. Some good batting, including quality shots and running between wickets.  Unfortunately this total was reached by Oberon in their 16th over of batting seeing SCSC lose the match.

The second game was against Newcombe SC. The aim of this game was to give every player an opportunity to bat and bowl if they wished to do so. This was fulfilled by the team and the boys had an enjoyable game showing good sportsmanship, respect encouragement and all having some fun with their peers.  

It is always great to see students uniting for the school and representing SCSC with respect and great sportsmanship in competition.

Well done to the year 11 & 12 senior boys cricket team of 2024.

2024 Swimming Sports Carnival

On the 22nd of February, we held our annual whole school swimming carnival at Kardinia Aquatic  Centre in South Geelong.  It was a scorcher of a day, with a mixture of fun activities and swimming events, including both students and teachers.  Students dressed in their house colours and couple of amusing outfits.  It was a great day, despite the heat, with some wonderful results.  Congratulations to Zeally house, as the swimming sports house winner!
