Intermediate Boys Volleyball 

A TEAM undefeated all day demonstrating some fantastic high level knowledge and ability during all games! With power and strength on our side the boys definitely shocked our opposition (probably scared some too)! Awesome effort boys - bring on the next round 

B TEAM dominated their section creating fantastic rally’s and so much growth throughout the whole day! Our serving was a great asset to have and ability to use our 3 passes before scoring! Great leadership and attitude by all the boys!

Intermediate Girls Volleyball NPD Runners up.

After playing some quality team volleyball for most of the day the MCC Inter Girls won all of their matches in the pool games to finish the top of Pool B. They then faced off against the winner of Pool A, FHS. After a slow start the MCC girls were able to win the first set by the narrowest possible margin, 2-points. Unfortunately, their slow starts continued in the next two sets, and they were unable to turn them around in the second and third sets, eventually going down in both, to finish second for the day.

MCC’s second team also had great success in their pool, losing only one game to FHS’s first team in the last round. Our girls went on to play in the second team final against FHS’s second team. The girls lost the first set, however rallied to win the second and third, and eventually won the match.

Well done to all girls involved, for the way you conducted yourselves and represented MCC on the day. Thanks also to Anastasia, who was unable to play due to injury, but assisted with umpiring games when we were on duty.

Senior Girls Volleyball 

Well done to all the girls, it was a very warm day but the girls managed to achieve growth in their volleyball abilities and each game was better then their last!
