Welcome to all our New families who have enrolled over the last few weeks. If your enrolment has not been active you should receive an email over the weekend allowing you to make bookings through our parent portal at Hubhello.
VACATION CARE AT EASTER
Easter is only 4 weeks away and our Easter holiday program is complete and ready to send out to families on the 1st March !!
Check your emails for the program coming out everyone.
Now it is all booked up we can let you know that we will be visiting Melbourne Zoo, Watching Kung Fu Panda 4 at a Hoyts private screening and we will also be having a day of fun at one of our favourites - Inflatable world ! As well as all the other exciting days we have planned for the Easter break.
What have we been up to in the last two weeks?
Last week following on from our week about our families we learned about our school community This was especially relevant for our New preps who are just starting to become familiar with who is who and where things are at our school. Aalyiah drew a fantastic Map of the school including every indoor and outdoor space we have to use here.
We looked at the people in our school community and who does what job ! We made a fun game with photos of the Staff at St A's. We had to match the photo with the staff name and job they do here at school ! It was actually really funny to hear what the children thought we did compared to our actual job title !!!
In cooking we made our Jam drops and they were delicious !! Thank you Dominique and Aleisha for sharing this yummy recipe with us !
This week we have had lots of fun looking at different occupations. We have had lots of dress ups and pretend play and some great conversations about what we would like to be when we grow up !
There was quite a few Scientists and especially Marine Scientists so we may look at having a Science based week next week at Before and After school care. So on Wednesday morning in our science session we had a go at making edible glass which was lots of fun !!
