Digital Citizenship Week 2024 is taking place from Monday, October 14th - Friday, October 18th.
Digital Citizenship Week is a week in October when we ask you to dedicate time to teaching children the skills and concepts needed to be a good digital citizen.
Digital citizenship includes key skills like using digital tools, communicating respectfully online, and protecting personal information. It also involves understanding the lasting impact of online actions and standing up against cyberbullying. Digital citizenship is all about teaching responsible and safe behaviour online.
Common Sense Education is helping us Celebrate Digital Citizenship Week in our classrooms, but they also offer some great resources for opening up the conversation at home.
