iPads

Please encourage your child to charge their iPad each night. We have noticed students have been coming to school and their device is flat. iPads are an integral part to the learning that takes place within the classroom. It is an expectation that students have a fully charged device.

Year 1

Toys

We have noticed some students bring toys into the classroom. Toys can be a cause of distraction especially if the toys become lost or broken. Please discourage your child from bringing toys to school. 

Year 2

Reminders:

Homework

Thank you for your continued support in instilling a strong homework routine for your child. The expectation is 1 lesson of Mathseeds completed a week (Sunday - Saturday). Please remember that Sunday starts the new week. 

The other homework expectation is reading 4 nights for 15 minutes. This is to be written in your child's diary and signed. Diaries should come to school every day.

Year 3

Reminders:

Device Buyout

If you have requested for a device buyout, all payments must be received by no later than Friday 6th December 2024.

Uniform

We have noticed a large number of hats and jackets that are unnamed. We ask if you would take a moment to ensure that your child’s uniform is named correctly. Please also check your child’s uniform at the end of each day. If they have taken someone else’s uniform home, please return it to school the following day.

Year 5

School Library Books

We please ask that you have a look at home for any borrowed school library books. Our school librarian, Miss Zoe, is now completing the end of year stock take and we would appreciate all books being returned. 

Year 6

Dates to Remember:

• Monday 9 December: Gravity Zone Excursion
• Tuesday 10 December: Orientation Day for most Year 6 students
• Thursday 12 December: Graduation at 5pm 

Reminders:

Library Books

Please ensure all library books are returned to the school throughout Week 9. 

Graduation Scrapbook

Please continue to help and remind your children to bring in photos for their scrapbook under the following headings: day of birth, first day of school, getting a new pet/ sibling/ important gift, family holiday, primary school friendships.
