TA Celebrations

On Wednesday 4 September, we acknowledged, appreciated and recognised the positive impact teacher aides and education support staff have on the lives of students, teachers and families. We celebrated the Australian Teacher Aide appreciation week with a lovely morning tea.

Uniform Shop School Holiday Hours

The Uniform Shop will be open from 2:00 - 4:00pm on Thursday 3rd October. Any online orders placed during the school holidays can be picked up on this day, or you can arrange an alternative pickup time by contacting Marlene via email: uniformshop@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au.

Uniform Shop Volunteers

As our school community grows, so does the demand at our Uniform Shop! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us keep things running smoothly.

We currently need:

  • A permanent helper for both Tuesday mornings (8:30 - 9:15am) and Thursday afternoons (2:45 - 3:15pm).
  • Backup helpers for either Tuesday mornings or Thursday afternoons.

If you're interested in volunteering, please reach out to Marlene Stapleton at uniformshop@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au. We appreciate your support!

Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes 2024

In our Chapel last Friday, we had a visit from Mrs Jess Davey who is our representative from Operation Christmas Child. She explained to the primary students how to prepare a shoe box, with their families, as a Christmas gift for children living in vulnerable situations in another country.

Boxes and explanation brochures are at Primary Reception. The 3 age groups are: Girl or Boy 2–4, 5–9, or 10–14. Items you can put into these boxes are: personal care items, school supplies, craft and activities, clothing and accessories, a personal note and a photo. Don’t include liquids, food or war related items.

Follow the link to explore how to pack a shoe box:

You can choose to pay for the postage online and then you can see when it leaves and which country it goes to.

Follow the link to find out how to print a label and pay for postage so that you can watch the shoe box travel to its destination in another country.

I did this with my family last year and our box went to the Philippines.

Boxes with the $12.50 for postage (best if paid online) and the label for the gender and age of the child, can be dropped off at Primary Reception until Week 10 Wednesday 18 September
