From the Acting Principal

It was wonderful to see so many families at school on March 7th to celebrate the start of the school year. Our junior students especially enjoyed exploring an area they don’t often use. I’m glad we stocked up on icy poles—they were a popular way to stay cool! The warm, sunny day also highlighted the value of our new basketball court cover, which will allow us to use the space year-round, providing shelter from both rain and sun.

I’d like to give a huge shoutout to everyone in our school community who helped make last month’s Variety Club Breakfast such a success. Whether you donated breakfast items, raffle prizes, or your time at the event – we couldn’t have pulled it off without your support! I feel very privileged  to be part of a community that comes together like this. Thanks to all your hard work and generosity, we’ve raised over $7,200 for our students, which is absolutely amazing. It truly takes a village, and we’re beyond grateful for each and every one of you!

Our current fundraising effort is a  Hot Cross Bun Drive through Bakers Delight where the school receives a payment from every pack sold.  An order form was sent home with your child.  Please contact us if you haven’t received one and would like to participate.

Orders need to be back at school by March 25th and buns will be delivered to school on Monday March 31st

We are excited  to welcome our new staff, each of whom bring a wide range  of skills, experience, and perspectives. Their diverse talents will be a great asset to our school, enriching both our students' learning and our community as a whole. We look forward to the positive impact they will make!

Thank you for your ongoing support in keeping unwell students at home. In our school setting, this is especially important, as many members of our community are more vulnerable to illness. Your consideration helps protect the health and wellbeing of students and staff alike, ensuring that we can continue to provide a safe and supportive learning environment.
