STAGE 2 News

What a busy start we have had to the year!  The children are settling into their new classroom routines smoothly and we have had a productive start to the term.

We are using a google classroom this year to access our work.  The classroom stream has a banner which can have a picture inserted into it.  Last week, we took the children out into the nature area to create the words ‘Stage 2’ using natural resources.  We will vote on our favourite creation to add to our google classroom stream.  Here are some examples of our creations.

One of our main focuses to start the year is discussing and learning about differences. The students have all created backpacks which detail all the things that make us all unique individuals, such as our favourite foods, what we would like to be when we grow up, and our books.  The idea of differences and respecting what makes each of us unique is also the main theme of the novel which we are studying this term titled ‘The Thing About Oliver’ by Deborah Kelly.

We are looking forward to a great term with Stage 2!
