2025 School Swimming Trials 

Best of luck to all our students participating in our School swimming trials this Thursday. Students will need to meet at the hall at 8.45am. We do need more parent helpers, if you are able to help please email Kristian Bain (kristian.bain@education.vic.gov.au)

 School Sports Team Victoria Trials 

Each year, talented Victorian School students have the opportunity to trial for a place in the School Sport Victoria (SSV) Team Vic State Team. Selected students participate in annual School Sport Australia (SSA) Championships. These championships offer gifted and talented students the opportunity to participate in a higher-level competition against students from other Australian States and Territories. 

When considering nominating your child, please remember that the Victorian team is chosen from all Victorian students and not all students are offered a tryout. Please ensure you read the attached flyer and visit the School Sport Victoria website. 

As a school we are asked to help the process by ensuring only highly talented students with a maximum of 3 students per sport are endorsed. With the applications closing on Friday 28th February for many of the sports, please email your intention to register your child to kristian.bain@education.vic.gog.au). I will run trials and confirm school endorsements on Monday 17th February, to allow plenty of time for families to complete the application.
