Parents and Friends Assoication Update

The first meeting of the PFA for 2025 will be held on Wednesday, February 19th, from 7:30 to 8:30 pm in the School Office Meeting Room. This meeting will be in person only.
We will discuss plans for the year, including the allocation of fundraising funds. All are welcome to attend and be part of the exciting work we do for our school community!
The agenda will be posted in the PFA Facebook group.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in March, where office bearers for the year will be elected.
We're always looking for more dedicated parents who would like to participate and help put on the events we all enjoy so much. If you're considering it, please come along to the meeting!

What is the PFA?
The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) is a dedicated group of parents and a subcommittee of the school. We work together to organise fundraising events and initiatives that benefit the school and enhance the student experience.
What Does the PFA Do?
The PFA meets regularly to plan and coordinate fundraising activities and events. We collaborate with the school to support initiatives that directly impact students and their learning environment.
What Events Does the PFA Organise?
The PFA organises a range of events throughout the year, including:
- BBQs for events such as Book Pack Day, Voting Days, and other school celebrations
- The Outdoor Movie Night
- The School Fete
- The Fun Run (introduced last year)
- The Mango Fundraiser
- Support for the Readathon and other smaller events
Where Does PFA Funding Go?
All money raised by the PFA goes directly back into initiatives that enrich the student experience at NPS. This includes funding for school resources, improvements to facilities, and special programs that benefit our children.
We look forward to seeing you at our first meeting of the year!
