TRIPLE P'S PARENTING TIPS FOR POSITIVE SCHOOL DROP-OFF
We understand that school goodbyes can be tough, both on kids and parents. It is common for children to be clingy, especially during transitions like starting school, changing schools, or moving up a level. To help, we wanted to share with you the latest article from the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program. It has some practical, proven to work ideas that you can try to help children cope and settle well at school, keeping in mind that you know best what might make goodbyes easier. Triple P has a whole range of free parenting programs, including Triple P Online (for parents and carers with children under 12) and Fear-Less Triple P Online (for parents and carers with children 6+ who are often anxious). Stop it at the Start is a national campaign that aims to prevent gender-based violence by influencing change to attitudes and behaviours that support or condone gender-based violence.
The current campaign phase is dedicated to the new and hidden forms of disrespect young people are being exposed to online and offline, and the negative impact this has on attitudes and behaviours.
