Year 1 Community 

Year 1's have been busy learning about Australia and countries around the world.

Every Thursday morning, we have been in classrooms learning about different cultures throughout human history.

Mr Miles has been been teaching students about ancient Egpyt and its civilisation.

Mrs Scrivano has been doing awesome work with ancient Greece. 

Mrs Yin has a Mexican-cultured theme with her lesson.

Miss Batchelder has been cooking gyozas, straight from Japan!

These mornings have been a great success so far, with the students writing follow-up recounts of what they have learned.

Moving forward in term 2; the students will learn about even more countries from around the world and even begin to research a country of their own choosing.
