This semester in Visual Arts, junior students have been having lots of fun with paint and extending on their fine motor skills through drawing and mark making. They have also applied their developing paint skills to create egg carton bees and a Friendship Tree.

Middle and Secondary students have explored the abstract as they used Paper-Mache techniques to create abstract self-portraits. Students used magazines, newspapers and printed images of interest as a base. Then they cut and pasted photos of their eyes, noses and mouths to their work. Students had fun exploring how re-positioning facial features can make them look like different people.
