Principal's Message

From the Desk of Kathy Nott - Term 2, Week 6

Good afternoon, Parents/Carers,

Walhallow Health Checks

In conjunction with the Walhallow Aboriginal Corporation, Walhealth will be conducting health checks on all students who identify as Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander this Friday, 6th June 2025.  Permission notes for those students who identify must be returned by tomorrow to ensure that your child does not miss out.  If you have any questions, or require another note, please contact the school office on 6768 7065.

PSSA Sport

Congratulations to Lachy who has earned a spot on the NENW team at the Soccer Trials held in Tamworth last week.  A special mention and congratulations to Lebron, who made the possible and probable round.  Great effort was displayed by all of our participants in a very tough field of competitors.  Also, we had 11 students compete at the Zone Cross Country in Quirindi on Friday.  Congratulations to Ashton and Lachy who have made it through to the Regional competition in Coolah.  Well done to Arabella, Alice, Hailie, Jackson, Joe, Lebron, Luke, Piper, Riley, Theo & Tyler on a fantastic effort.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

We will be holding Parent/Teacher Interviews in Week 9 and 10 of this term.  Notes were sent home yesterday to ask for your preferred times. Our staff will try their best to accommodate you with one of your preferred times however, it will be on a first in, first served scenario.  If you could please return your preferred times as soon as possible it would be greatly appreciated.  If these dates and times are not suitable, please contact the school and we will do our best to accommodate.

Rotations

Our Rotations program on Fridays which consists of singing, dance and sport held in the middle session has been very successful.  All students are displaying great skills and embracing the experience.
