Leadership Centre

Highlight
Selamat siang,
The students in the Leadership Centre have been using their creativity, mathematics skills and design skills to create a home for a Sphero robot. The task involved students working with their classmates to draw a birds eye view map of a home on a Cartesian plane. They created 3D shape pieces of furniture, drew nets to represent these shapes and measured angles in their homes. They used the Cartesian Plane to describe the location of different rooms or pieces of furniture. It was excellent to see students using the character strengths of teamwork and kindness as they worked in small groups to create these homes.
During digitech lessons on Friday, students will work together to code the Sphero robots to move through their houses following a path. Keep an eye out for these projects coming on Seesaw soon :)
Wishing you a fantastic week ahead,
The Leadership Centre
