Three Year Old Kinder News

Outdoors this week, many of the children became deeply involved in creating a water run with tubes and hoses. They concentrated hard on pouring water from bucket to watering can to hose, and in the process began to investigate making small changes so that water could travel to the very end. Elsewhere in the yard, there has been some wonderful sensory and cooking play. We have also been listening to, and watching, Corellas and Ravens as they visit the Kinder yard. There has been so much happening indoors too. We are absolutely loving using our the rainbow resources for the colour matching and sequencing play they inspire.

Four Year Old Kinder News

Our Budja group visited the Year 4 class this week and had a wonderful time creating our own possums with our buddies, strengthening those special connections. Back at kinder, we’ve been making the most of the beautiful autumn afternoons—exploring the rock beds, collecting leaves, and using them to create our very own autumn leaf people. The changing season has sparked so much creativity and joy!

Our Gawarn group have loved exploring the changing season, collecting leaves and twigs during outdoor play. They also had a blast singing and dancing to fun action songs outside. Indoors, our new café dramatic play area has been a big hit, sparking lots of collaboration, communication, and creative role play. We also made a fresh batch of playdough together. The children enjoyed measuring, mixing, and kneading the ingredients—such a fun, hands-on learning experience!
