Parents and Friends

Another Wonderful Weekend of Community and Celebration

It was another great Saturday of sport at the College, and with that came another great barbeque! There’s something truly special about seeing our school community come together – not just for the love of the game, but to share good food, laughter, and camaraderie.

On behalf of the Parents’ and Friends’ Committee, I would like to sincerely thank each and every person who came along and lent a hand. We know how valuable your time is, and without our incredible volunteers, these beautiful, fun-filled days simply would not be possible. Your efforts make a real difference.

A very special thank you must go to Danielle Johnston, who cooked all day at Breen Oval – your dedication did not go unnoticed. We are also so grateful to the following wonderful volunteers who gave their time and energy: Nicola Chatfield, Caroline Chahin, Belinda Barakat, Lina Bartorilla, Lynette Trainor, Antoinette Nader, Laura Michael, Sarah Boumelhem, Jessika Gauci, Renae Giles, Irene Karantonis, Julie Pham, Damian Bridge, Paula Ibarra, Tess Burnicle, David Hammond, James Coorey, Emily Saoud, Alison Auland, Chris Malone, Jassie Lahood, Rita Borg, Nerida Shipley, Davina Fernandez, Hae Jung Kim, Kate Svoboda, Anne Davis, Thomas Byrne, Louise Haddad, Louise Calleja, Auriel Smith, Rebecca Morgan, Leanne Piccin, Jenny Vu, Malcom Elias, Jacqui Lombardo, Suzanne Bounassif, Bianca and Joe Bova, Dione Fague, Monique Ghosn, Peter Gainsford, David Hammond and the lovely Gemma Donegan, who once again treated us with her delicious sweet treats.

2025 Blue, Black and Gold Dinner

On another exciting note, Friday 23 May saw the return of our much-loved Blue, Black and Gold Dinner Dance at Le Montage. It was another successful evening – delicious food, great company, and a full dancefloor, truly a recipe for success! Thank you to everyone who attended and brought such a joyful energy to the night.

A huge thank you to Mr Adrian Byrne, our MC for the evening, who kept the night flowing with good humour and heart. But a special shoutout must go to Caroline Chahin for her unforgettable rendition of Sweet Caroline – a moment of pure joy that had the entire room on their feet, singing and dancing together. It’s memories like these that remind us why we do what we do.

Thank you again to our amazing community for your continued support.

With gratitude,

The P&F Committee
