Alex In Wonderland

“The world is a complicated place, and there’s a lot of division between people. The Performing Arts tend to unify people in a way nothing else does.” David Rubenstein

I was privileged to attend all three, sold-out performances of our Drama production, Alex in Wonderland. It was an adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s famous work that has enchanted audiences across the world for over 150 years. The cast and crew worked tirelessly to bring our production to life and has given them yet another opportunity to shine.

There are a few life lessons that our boys can glean from Alex in Wonderland.

Risk Has Rewards

Alex’s journey down the rabbit hole teaches us that taking risks can lead to incredible adventures and personal growth, even if the path is challenging.

Discover Who You Are

When the Caterpillar asks Alex, "Who are you?", it prompts him to reflect on his identity. This encourages us to embrace self-discovery and accept ourselves.

Accept Differences

Alex learns to appreciate the unique qualities of those around him, reminding us that celebrating diversity enriches our lives.

Don't Get Stuck in the Past

Alex’s adventures show that personal evolution is essential. By letting go of the past, we can focus on creating a brighter future.

Stand Up for Yourself

Alex’s encounters with the Queen of Hearts highlight the importance of standing up to bullies and believing in our own strength.

We hope that these lessons from Alex in Wonderland inspire our students to navigate their own journeys with courage, curiosity, and kindness.

The following students are to be congratulated on being part of the production. Each and every one of them played their part/did their job and this led to a wonderful experience for our community.
