School Council Update

At this weeks School Council meeting the following matters were discussed;

• Child Safety – Child Safe Standard 1 (Cultural inclusion) 
• Occupational Health and Safety
  • HVS CCTV Policy retired, replaced by DET CCTV in Schools Policy
  • CCTV training for 5 staff approved to access footage
• Bus Operator Management 
  • The HVS Vehicle Usage and Safety Policy reviewed and ratified
  • Annual review of bus operator processes performed and update of documentation
  • Proposed annual audit process
  • From term 4 Amanda Kovacev will be have the Bus Coordinator role
• Christmas Raffle fundraiser approved
• Amber Ward will undertake Paul Tyson’s Chaplaincy hours in term 4
• School Council Self-Assessment tool - President section completed
• Merger of uniform supplier – Noone and Both Stewart, continue to trade as Bellarine Uniforms. Invitation to families in term 4 about new school uniform items.
• Reimbursement for a torn staff jacket
• High Intensity OSHC application 
• Student Free days for 2024 approved
