Connect Ed Sessions

Mr Johnson has once again organised ‘connect ed’ session for each year 12 VCE subject. Students attended sessions catered their specific subjects and presented by students who have recently completed their VCE. 

This year it will run differently to benefit our students. The sessions will start at the beginning of session 4 (1:50pm) and run for 3 hours, giving students plenty of time to take advantage of the knowledge of the presenters and complete the booklets. The school has provided funding for this program to provide extra support for students leading into exams.

Year 10

Course selections. Most students have handed their forms back at the sub school office.

Students who haven’t submitted this, please see the sub school immediately. Importantly, for VCE VM students, ensure you have applied for your VET course or see the sub school to discuss urgently.

Year 11

Our VCE VM students recently finished their time working with the residents at Saint Lawrence Park Retirement Village. This has been a huge success and a great way to connect our students with the school community. Tuesday mornings have seen regular visits by our students to the village where they have engaged in cooking, carpet bowls, sewing, arts and crafts and Bingo! This culminated in them visiting our school for a tour and a morning tea. The students formed great relationships and were able to study community connections in classes that followed and link the content with these excursions. Some pictures below.
