Twilight Concert news from PAPA: We are gearing up for another wonderful concert next week on Friday 1 September, and looking forward to the opportunity to farewell the wonderful and talented Year 12 students who have been part of the Performing Arts at St Pius X College over the last few years. Please come and support this event and hear amazing musicians perform. We will be running the BBQ's and all students performing will get a sausage sandwich and drink prior to the concert. We will keep the BBQ running so any families or siblings of performers are welcome to stop by and purchase a sausage sandwich and drink prior to the concert commencement at 5:00 pm. As this concert will be indoors, we won't continue the BBQ after the concert begins, so to grab one, please come by before the concert starts. We are also looking for a few volunteers to assist in running BBQ and feeding the hungry performers so if you can lend a hand at all from 2:30 pm, please fill in the google link attached or email natalielenton@optusnet.com.au.

Many thanks, Gabe Donlevy, PAPA President

Youth Masses – singers are wanted at Our Lady of Dolours Church, Chatswood. Our local parish now has a Musical Director, Mr Titus Grenyer who is keen to form an SATB choir involving students from St Pius X College and Mercy College in a monthly Youth Mass. These take place on the last Sunday of every month (so this Sunday 27 August from 4:30 pm for rehearsal at the church, for mass at 5:30 pm). Interested students may wish to claim the 3 hours of time as community service. Please see Mrs Westhoff for more details.
