Book Week

The playground was brimming with imagination and wonder from the moment school started this morning. Each outfit showed off the effort and creativity that both staff and students (with the help of their families) poured into their costumes. ACPS felt like all of our favourite stories had been brought to life.

Throughout the week, our classrooms buzzed with excitement as students and teachers embraced the week, delving into a diverse range of activities that brought stories to life. From creative writing exercises that transported us to far-off lands, to engaging discussions that explored the depths of character development, Book Week offered a platform for everyone to deepen their connection to the written word and the joy of reading.

The pinnacle of our Book Week festivities was undoubtedly the highly anticipated Book Week Parade and Assembly.  I was awed by the vibrant procession of characters celebrating the universality of stories and their ability to unite us all.

Thank you to the families who joined us at our parade and Warrandyte Kindergarten for their participation and enthusiasm, showing that the joy of reading can start early.

Thank you to the staff who made this event a huge success. Particularly Alysha Buzzini who has put in a huge amount of time and effort for everyone to enjoy Book Week.
