We are learning to explore friction. 

VOCABULARY

Friction: Friction is a force, the resistance of motion when one object rubs against another. Whenever two objects rub against each other, they cause friction. Friction works against the motion and acts in the opposite direction.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Using materials from around the home, students need to design and create a protective covering to keep an egg safe from breaking when released from a high point. 

When the covering has been created, place an egg inside and drop your creation from a high point (outdoors).

If not, what changes could you do to make your design more protective for the egg?
