Some musings...why was it good that the power went out?

Some of the students did a brainstorm today about what were the good things that happened because the power went out...

Maybe a little reminder about the importance of 'switching off' sometimes????

WHAT WERE THE BENEFITS OF NO ELECTRICITY?

-My brother and I played cars

-I made a solar fan

-I helped mum build

-I went outside more

-We went out for lunch

-We got to use torches

-We listened to the radio- it had batteries!

-I played with my little brother

-We played cricket with the neighbours

-I taught my 13yo cousin how to skate

-I crafted

-We used candles

-I read a whole book

-We got out our camping gear

-We visited family

-We slept in the caravan

-We got in the boat and watched the sunset

-We did funny dances

-I had more time to spend with my brother

-We cut out a box and went inside and made our own TV show

-I built a lego boat building company using like 20 000 pieces

-We rode bikes

-We used the gas stove

-I read more

..... so maybe it wasn't so bad after all?????
