2023 Graduation

Tuesday 12th of December 2023 was the YEAR 6 GRADUATION when the year sixes magically turned into Year 7s! We were all excited to graduate but our nerves were starting to kick in as it got closer to the time when we had to read our speech. One by one we read out our speeches as our PowerPoints were playing behind us. It was super exiting!

Our teachers, Mrs Jacqi Hope and Ms Jenny Sartoria, and our principal, Mrs Stacey Willaton, also gave some speeches that were a little bit tear-jerking. Some students were presented with special awards including:

Encouragement awards: Ash-lee, Harmony, Poppy and Teanamay
Sports awards: Cooper and Zavier
Academic Achievement awards: Tamika and Will
All-Rounder Achievement awards: Grace and Georgie

All students were presented with a Year 6 Graduation Package that contained a graduation signing book and a photo book with a certificate inside it.

Mrs Willaton ended the evening by inviting all the year 6 students to the stage for a group photo. We took our skateboards and graduation posters home, along with a Class of 2023 Cupcake and a chocolate ball with a cute little graduation cap on top. What a great night!
