The Big Read - Monday 5th February

Please come along and join in with us as we celebrate a shared love of reading. Students will be in their HOUSE COLOURS, allowing for multi age cross collaboration and siblings remaining together making it easier for families to enjoy the afternoon with all. Please bring along a book of your own to model independent reading and join in our reading fun!

**World Read Aloud Day is Wednesday the 7th February. We encourage all students to participate by reading something aloud on this day.  You might want to read to a sibling, a pet, an imaginary friend, a parent, a grandparent or even to a teddy bear! It all counts.**

Whole School Assembly - Friday 9th February 3:00pm

Please come and celebrate our achievements in our first assmbly of the year. For those Grade 6 parents, please do't miss this one as we will be handing out students Grade 6 jumpers. 

Welcome to School BBQ - Friday 9th February  3:30-6:30pm

Please join us in bringing in the new school year with a BBQ on Friday evening at school. Come and mingle with our NPS community and welcome new families to our school. There will be a collaborative Art display for students to contribute to and small garden type games/activities to play. 

*** If you're able, we'd love families to bring a salad to share to compliment our sausage sizzle. There will be a shared table to place these on. Please include a list of ingreidents if required to cater for those with allergies***

BYO plates, cutlery, chairs/picnic rugs, drinks (no alcohol) and food (should you not wish to partake of sausages).

ROCK SOLID START

Here are some of the things students have been working on throughout their Rock Solid Start to 2024.

Buddy Program 2024

The buddy program has gotten off to a great start for students. Today they spent some reading a book about feelings on the first day of school. It was lovely to see all the buddies sharing some thoughts and reflecting on their first day, two days for our little buddies but a few years for our big buddies!
