Celebrating Learning

Welcome prep families!

Students have been learning the day-to-day routines of school while exploring our classroom, the play spaces in the yard, the farm, and meeting new students and staff throughout the school. 

We are learning new songs at the beginning of each day in our morning circle and creating our class acknowledgement together.

In play-based learning this week, students chose materials in our room to build and create together. I was so impressed with their ability to both collaborate, and problem solve!

In Maths, we are exploring numbers to 10. This includes, subitising, reading number stories and representing numbers visually. 

What a great start to the year!
