Parent Day 2025

 

 

Raising Children Network is proud to be supporting Parent Day at the International Congress on Evidence-Based Parenting Support. 

 

The program has an impressive lineup of world-leading experts who will share trusted, research-driven insights on a range of parenting topics. Parents and carers will get credible information and practical tips on topics including digital safety, fostering resilience, overcoming sleep challenges, navigating tricky conversations and changes to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Professionals are welcome too!

Ticket holders can access the event when it is broadcast from 10:00am-4:00pm AEST, and can watch the presentations on demand for two weeks after the event.

 

Understanding and supporting students who experience "School Can’t"

A representative of School Can't Australia will speak to parents and carers about:

  • identifying early signs of distress
  • why we need to reframe School Refusal as School Can't
  • how to support your child or teen when they are distressed about attending school
  • learn about common stressors and the autonomic nervous system
  • the relationship between chronic stress and wellbeing
  • looking after yourself as a parent/carer.

*This session will be recorded and available to everyone who registers, for a limited time.
