Secondary Student Leader Report 

Secondary Student leaders are working together this year to enhance and encourage the spiritual growth of students. We run an event called ‘Awaken’ every Wednesday lunchtime, where we partner with churches and have lots of guest speakers and youth pastors coming in to speak to the students. 

We also provide an opportunity for all students to grow in their leadership skills and they can share what God is doing in their lives. We have super-keen musical students who use their gifts to bring worship during this time. 

As a team, we are supporting other students to be part of our weekly prayer meeting in the library on a Thursday recess; we have a Bible study and a new art group that have formed to encourage creative faith building activities. 

Last Term, we kicked off our first Revive event. This is a time of fellowship, games and worship. Zac Streefland from the Rock Church spoke about unity and we had fun games to encourage teambuilding. This was an awesome time together and we will be holding our second Revive for Term 2  on 4 June.
