Dear Parents & Carers,

I wish to say an early Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in our community on behalf of the Chatswood Public School P&C.

This morning, we had our Mother's Day morning tea and second-hand uniform pop-up shop at the school hall. A big thank you to our community members who shared food and/or donated their child's pre-loved school uniforms, and to those who showed their support by joining us at the hall. I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of new CPS families who joined our community in the last few months and had some good chats.

Our second-hand uniform pop-up shop was highly popular, and we are going to open it again for one more session this Friday, 9 May at 2:45 p.m. I believe providing a cost-effective second-hand option is a great service to our families. Meanwhile, with the funds raised from this, the P&C is able to contribute more back to the school. As a result, the P&C committee is in the process of planning to make this a periodic service to our community. We'll provide more information as we confirm our plan.

Lastly, I would like to thank both our parent volunteers and P&C committee members for running the Democracy Sizzles on election day last Saturday. CPS was an extremely busy polling place, and the P&C sold out of our lot of sausages for the day!
