Writing- By Seha

Over the past two weeks in writing we have been learning about fairytales. There was a potion table set up in the red centre. We all sat down and listened to Wilfred (Miss Lisa) talking about wizard things. We all got to ask questions and Wilfred would answer them. He then asked different students to put in different ingredients in a potion. We had to put on some costumes when we were making them. Wilfred was so funny and we all enjoyed it. Next Wednesday we will be writing a big write about a magic potion.

Inquiry/Ed in Faith- By JL

For the last 2 weeks in inquiry we have been learning about animal adaptations, these are structural, physiological, and behavioral. Based on the adaptations we learnt about last week, we made our own fictional animals. In Ed in Faith we have been learning about being Stewards of  God’s creation, this means taking care of our planet. In class we made comics about how we can help the earth, I made a comic about pollution in our oceans, why this is bad and how I could help.

Interschool Sport- By Holly & Luka

On friday we visited frankston primary school to play soccer. At the start we scored one goal and in five minutes  Frankston scored one point and then after the girls it was two nil and then Frankston scored two points, then we scored two more, at the end it was a tie. We all had fun at least and that is the main thing. It was also fun being able to walk down to Frankston Primary. We are playing against Frankston East Primary School next Friday.

Last week people who were in the girl netball team played against Frankston Primary School and we played on our basketball court and we turned around our basketball rings to the netball side and played 2-3 matches and the girls team points were 0-4 first and second was 0-3 or 5. It was a really fun experience to play against Frankston Primary School and we all had a fun time playing. Next Friday we are playing against Frankston East Primary School and will be going on a bus to drive there.
