Year 5/6 Students Honour ANZAC Day with Pride and Respect

Our Year 5/6 students recently completed a powerful and respectful performance of the song I Was Only 19 as part of our ANZAC Day commemorations. This moving piece gave students the opportunity to reflect on the experiences of Australian soldiers during the Vietnam War.

Our Year 5/6 students spoke clearly and confidently as they presented poems and written reflections about what ANZAC Day means to them. They sang with heartfelt pride, sharing powerful messages that honoured the service and sacrifice of Australian soldiers.

Their performance demonstrated not only a deep understanding of the significance of I Was Only 19, but also their ability to respectfully commemorate those who have served. The students represented our school with dignity and were a credit to our community.
