Well Done - Bella Wright

I would like to take this opportunity as the Green House Leader to acknowledge the amazing efforts of one of our Green House Students. That student is Bella Wright. During the recent school holidays, Bella was chosen to compete as a member of Team Victoria in the Australian National Championships for Water Polo. The competition took place at the AIS in Canberra, with a 6-day championship campaign. The schedule was gruelling, with 14 games over that period. While the Vic’s fought hard and played some great games, they finished in 8th place. Bella played an integral part for Team Victoria, playing as the goalkeeper. Under pressure in most games, Bella was able to channel her inner Green House qualities, and fought hard right till the end. Well done Bella on this amazing achievement.

Farewell Year 12’s

Last week we farewelled our Year 12 cohort during our Celebration Day here at school. We got to spend the morning together, sharing breakfast, and creating memories through the signing of shirts and dresses. Following this, students headed home briefly to change into costume, ready for our final dismissal. We celebrated the Year 12’s in the gym, giving them a send off to remember. I wish all the Year 12 Green students a fond farewell. They have proven to be a close-knit, friendly, resilient, and hard working bunch. The House Captains have brought a culture to the Green House that sets the tone for the entire House. All the best in the future Green Team!
