Year 12 Final Day

The Year 12 final day celebration was a resounding success, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the students and teachers. It provided a memorable and enjoyable experience for the graduating class, allowing them to celebrate their achievements and bid farewell to their high school years in a positive fun way.

The day commenced with a breakfast and dedicated time for students and staff to sign messages on the student’s uniforms. Student then embraced the spirit of the day by dressing up and celebrating with a special morning assembly dedicated to the Year 12 students. Awards were given to recognize outstanding achievements and contributions of the graduating class.

I’d like to acknowledge the work of Jess Scannell and our 4 school captains in making this day such a success.

Our Year 12’s have now started their exam period and we wish them all the best over the next 4 weeks.

Belmont Arts & Tech Show

On Monday 16th October, we held our annual Arts and Tech Show Opening. The evening was a terrific opportunity for students to showcase their projects in a gallery-like experience. We were lucky to have local artist Ferne Millen come along as a guest speaker and to hand out some awards. Doors opened at 4:30pm and we saw many families come through to check out our students’ amazing pieces.

I wish to congratulate all the students who displayed work on the night and put a special shout out to Celeste Fuentes who was recognised for the incredible array of pieces she had on display.

Awards Evening

On Monday 18th December, we will be holding our annual Student Award Ceremony. This year, the event will be in the Gym at Belmont High School and will commence at 6.00pm.
