The Australian Geography Competition's primary objective is to nurture students' interest in Geography and recognise their commitment to excellence.
We are thrilled to announce the remarkable achievements of our talented geography students who recently showcased their geographical prowess on a national stage in the 2023 Australian Geography Competition. Monivae College is proud to report that several of our students achieved outstanding results in this year's competition.
Madison Pye earned a place in the top 1% of Year 7 students across Australia. This is a remarkable achievement and I commend her for this achievement in this year's competition.
The following students achieved high distinctions:
Year 7: Mazie Perriman.
Year 8: Shannon Mhasho, Levi Templeton, Arlo Walsh and Liam Withers.
Year 10: Charlize Fairbairn
