Benjamin White

As always, it has been a busy time at Monivae College, with plenty of learning, teaching, sport, Cadets, Retreats and Reflection Days, Chess, House Debating, Mission Fair Day, House Singing, Masses and Liturgies, Assemblies….the list goes on.

As Term 3 ends, I wanted to communicate with the Monivae community and acknowledge the steady progress we have made this term, and to note the opportunities that lie ahead:

2024 Subject Selections

Navigating the subject selection process is no small feat, and our students have handled this task with remarkable diligence and consideration. Your thoughtful decisions reflect not only maturity but a promising trajectory towards the academic accomplishments that lie ahead. I commend each one of you for the dedication demonstrated during this process.

Parent-Teacher Interviews

I am sincerely thankful for the enthusiasm and involvement exhibited by parents and guardians during the recent parent-teacher interviews. Your insights and active participation reinforce the home-school connection, a cornerstone in creating a harmonious and fruitful educational journey for our students.

Year 12 Practice Exams

As we gear up to welcome a new term, our Year 12 students are on the cusp of an important phase in their academic journey. The practice exam period that commences on October 9th promises to be a significant milestone, allowing them to demonstrate the fruits of their labour and preparation. As always, we stand by them, extending our unwavering support and belief in their abilities to excel.

Reflecting on Term 3

As we bid farewell to a term brimming with learning and teaching, I extend my gratitude to each member of our community. Your collaboration, dedication, and adaptability have been the driving forces behind another successful term, laying a strong foundation for the exciting challenges and opportunities that await us.

Looking Forward to a Restful Holiday Break

Before coming back for Term 4, make sure to take a moment to rejuvenate and recharge during the holiday break. I encourage everyone to take the time to relax, explore personal interests, and enjoy the company of family and friends. As the days grow warmer and longer, I hope this break is a time for fun and relaxation, offering a well-deserved respite from the bustling school routine.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment.
