Katee Mitchell

Term 3 ends today, with students and staff alike, looking forward to a break and reset before our final term begins. There have been many opportunities for students this term to participate in including sport, academic challenges and House Activities with our final, whole school House Singing competition being hotly contested before our Mission Fair afternoon began. Many of our students embrace these opportunities and it is great to see the satisfaction of a job well done, a challenge mastered, and in some cases, just having a good time with mates. There is lots on offer if you choose to participate and enjoy the time together with others.

For parents of bus travellers, you will have received emails this week from both myself, and the state run bus system – there is more information about this later in the Newsletter. The system is not currently fully operational and I understand that while some parents have successfully made new accounts and passwords, others have not been able to do so. Administration training will occur on October 3rd and further assistance will be available after this time. We appreciate your patience and understanding with this new process.

Term 4 will see all students return to wearing our summer uniform – could I ask you all to please check that you have the correct uniform items for October 2nd, and that dress lengths are to the middle of the knee. Hats will be required for next term – if you have lost yours, please purchase a new one from the Canteen. The college uniform is listed in the front of the planner if you are unsure of what to wear.

I hope that everyone has the chance to rest and spend time with family and friends over the holidays.
