Faith and Mission Report

Mission Fair Day was celebrated on the last day of Term with a Liturgy run by Mr. Matthew Crane and students and staff. It was great to hear stories from our staff about their immersion experiences, and I encourage our students to be involved in helping out others as much as they can.

Next newsletter will have the official money raised from Mission Fair day. Over the last twelve months, money has gone to many organisations including St Vincent de Paul (both nationally and locally), Caritas Australia and of course, the MSC Missions Office.

During this Term I was undertaking the role of Deputy Principal in Mr Rowe’s absence. As a result, a few staff have stepped up to take on the Faith and Mission roles at Monivae. I would like to thank Mr. Terry Molan, Mr. Matthew Crane, Mrs Katee Mitchell and Mrs Lia Mailes for taking on parts of the role this term.

Coming up next Term will be the reflection days for the Year 7 students, as well as end of year Liturgies, Graduation liturgies etc.
