Welcome to Term Four. 

The Level One team would firstly like to take the opportunity to welcome the new families to our school. We are extremely excited for another fantastic term of learning and cannot believe that your children are embarking on their final term as Year One students. This term, students will engage in a range of rich experiences to deepen their learning across all curriculum areas. They will investigate the Inquiry question, “How are we Impacted by our Environment?” focusing specifically on water resources locally and globally. Furthermore, students will continue developing strategies in Literacy, Numeracy and ‘You Can Do It’, as they build their independence in setting and achieving learning goals. As we approach the end of the school year, we will focus on transition, ensuring your children are equipped with the skills and strategies to support a positive start to Year Two next year.

Please remember to send your child to school with their hat labelled as it is an expectation that they wear this during Recess and Lunch playtimes. The Student Voice Junior School Council representatives, together with Mrs Garzberg-Grant have organised a ‘Hat Lotto’. Students with their hat at school, and labelled will have the chance to win a free icy pole at lunchtime!
