Foundation Swimming Program

This Wednesday 4th October our Foundation students start their swimming lessons at Heather’s Swim School. Children are reminded that they need swimming bathers, a towel and goggles (all clearly labelled). Children may wear their sports uniform each Wednesday for the swimming program (please also label each item, you would be surprised how many children have the same shoes with the same size etc).

Swimming times are as follows: 11:30am – 12:00 noon FME, 12:00 noon – 12:30pm FSN, 12:30pm – 1:00pm FHE.

Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to help out with the swimming program by walking the children to and from their swimming lesson.  Just a reminder that all helpers need to have a Working With Children Check and the school needs to have a copy. Below is a list of the volunteers for this week (a roster for the rest of the term will be sent out at the end of the week). We ask that all volunteers be outside the Foundation area 35 minutes before the class swimming time.

FME family helpers:  Luca Cartwright, Elsie Keating, Harvey McCarthy and Luke Williams

FSN family helpers:  Olivia Crabbe, Sarah Laurie and Isabel Robb

FHE family helpers:  Isla Kelly, Poppy Morris and Ted Parker
