2023 Secondary School State Chess Championships

Andrew Tran (12H), Minh Tran (12H) and Aleks Simovski (9H) were invited to represent Lalor Secondary College at the 2023 Secondary School State Chess Championships. The invitation came off the back of their impressive performances at the qualifying tournaments throughout the year. The best 300 Secondary School students in Victoria were invited to the event which was hosted by St Oliver Plunkett Primary School. Andrew and Minh both performed strongly throughout the eight rounds and should be proud of their tremendous efforts.
