VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!

Referendum Day sausage/coffee/cake stall

The Federal Electoral Commission will be using the APS Gymnasium as a polling booth for the Referendum on Saturday 14 October.

The polling booth will be open from 8am to 6pm.

On Referendum Day, APS will run a cake stall, sausage sizzle & coffee service. This provides the opportunity to raise funds for the school.

Parents & helpers are encouraged to donate baked items such as cakes & biscuits

(incl. list of ingredients).

Please note that smaller baked items generally sell better than whole cakes – either leave at school reception on Friday 13 October or bring early on Referendum Day.

Volunteers are needed from 8:00am to 2:30pm – please populate the volunteer spreadsheet:

Tuning into Teens @ APS

We are excited to once again offer the Tuning in to Teens program for parents/carers of Year 5-6 students. This 6-session, interactive, small-group program will be held at our school next term on Wednesday evenings. Tuning in to Teens  is a great opportunity to better understand and help your child as they prepare to navigate high school and adolescence. The program helps you reflect on how you can strengthen your relationship with your child and build their emotional intelligence. More information in the flyer attached.
