Year 6 Expo
On the 14th September the Year 6 cohort ran an Economics Expo for the Karoo community. Throughout Term 3 the Year 6 students created a stall with a budget of $30; that included prizes, signs, equipment and materials needed to create the project. We thank you all for your participation and donations - we raised a total of $2033.
Here are some reflections from our students:
- Building our ideas from scratch and having our student voices heard. Cooper
- It was fun going around the courtyard advertising my stall with the music and smiling faces from the students. Sophie B
- I have enjoyed experiencing the Year 6 expo from prep and this year I got to finally create my stall with my friends. It was a great vibe seeing all the students enjoying themselves visiting all the stalls. Kaitlyn
- I liked making the punch a prize and working with my friends. I also loved assisting our customers. Alice
- I loved counting the funds we raised from our ‘Lucky Ducky’ store. Jade
- I loved handing out the lollies to the students who came and visited our stall. Aden

- I loved sourcing the materials and making the signage for our stall. The spooking and advertising on expo day with the music playing was a highlight. Mia S
