Peer Support Morning Tea

The Year Eleven Peer Support students have been inspiring and encouraging companions for the Year Sevens this year, and we have loved going into each other’s homerooms. On Friday 8 September, the Year Sevens met with their Year Eleven Peer Support buddies for a fun morning tea session together. The Year Sevens supplied the food, and the Year Elevens brought in fun games and activities. There were a wide variety of delicious treats and goodies, including cake, cookies and chips. Popular games during the session included some competitive Foursquare and the hilarious card game Exploding Kittens. Next term, we are hoping to do the opposite, and have the Year Elevens supply food while the Year Sevens bring in games and activities. We would all like to thank Mrs. Cooper for setting up the Peer Support program this year, and all other staff who helped out with the morning tea.

Hannah Hull, Year Seven

This year’s peer support team was super grateful for our picnic! With the Year Seven’s supplying delicious food and the Year Elevens putting together games, it was the perfect opportunity for us all to get together for the last time this term. Getting to see a few of the Year Sevens in our home room every week has been a great to stay in touch with them, and I know we will all be looking forward to the next picnic we have.
