Netball NSW Schools Cup Regional Finals

On Wednesday 20th September, O'Connor Catholic College took two of their Netball teams to the Regional Finals held in Tamworth - the Year 10 Boys and Year 7 Girls (with two of our Year 8s filling in). We had a great day with some great performances from our students, who were also acknowledged by staff at other competing schools for their manners and sportsmanship...Congratulations! There were some mixed results with the boys winning one out of 5 games. The Year 7 girls made it through to the Crossover Finals whilst being down to 6 out of 7 players and unfortunately were beat by a strong Calrossy side. A huge thank you to Alexis Cook, Sophie Carson and Chloe Inman who came along on the day to umpire. Your knowledge and understanding of the game is exemplary. Well done to all students and staff involved!
