PRODUCTION 2023…IT’S A WRAP!

We ended Term 3 with a round of applause following our School Production of ‘The Great Wall of Courage’.  What a night we all had!  The students were absolutely outstanding and we were all very proud of them.

There were so many stories of growth, confidence building and self belief that came out of the experience.  It was wonderful to see every child shine in their own way.

On the 7 of September we performed our whole school production called "The Great Wall of COURAGE". Each letter represented a different value we should have and we travelled all over the world looking for these letters. A highlight for me was definitely having fun with my friends and enjoying the night that we have been working on for months. - Charlotte 5/6

Last term we did a whole school production and performed it at the Frankston Arts Centre. We learned lots of things like building our confidence, speaking in front of a big group, being more patient when people were still learning their lines, being positive all the time and helping each other if we got stuck. Overall it was the best night ever! - Billie 5/6

The 7th of September was a huge night for our school and myself. We had a school production based on bringing courage to our school and being kind to each other. We travelled around the world finding letters in lots of different places like out of space, China, and my favourite country America! America was my class dance and I really enjoyed singing and dancing to the songs. I also performed in a few other dances and I loved doing them all.  - Ella 5/6

We performed our production, ‘The Great Wall of Courage’ at George Jenkins theatre on the 7th of September. It was a really great experience for everyone and lots of fun. I really enjoyed all the rehearsals at lunchtime and the full day rehearsals as well. When we got to perform everyone was very nervous but it was so exciting. My favourite part of the production was when I said my lines and everyone in the crowd laughed. I also enjoyed coming across in the 1⁄2 's performance and doing karate moves. Everyone laughed so hard, I loved every part of the performance. It was amazing! -Jack F 5/6

On Thursday, St. Joseph’s went to George Jenkins Theatre.  There was a play and there were a few songs too.  Our song was Kung Fu Fighting Hoo Ha.  I know karate.  It was as funny as ever, I loved it.  There was the Great Wall of Courage and the ‘C’ was for us.  There was an out of space dance, it was pretty cool. - Indie 1/2

On Thursday 7th September, the whole school went to George Jenkins Theatre.  1/2 did the dance of Kung Fu Fighting.  We did this ‘Hoo, ha’.  That bit was so funny, I loved it.  I could not stop smiling.  My Mum could not stop smiling too.  At the end of our dance, the dragons came on.  My sister was the leader of one of the dragons.  I smiled at her and she smiled back.  I laughed.  I had so much fun!  - Pia 1/2

Yesterday, on Thursday night, we had our school concert and I was in it.  There were about 9 songs.  It was the best day of my life. - Joe 1/2
